A Better Hope and Covenant

Hebrews 7:18–25 declares that the old priestly order could never perfect sinners or bring them fully into the presence of God—but Jesus can. As our eternal High Priest and the guarantor of a better covenant, Christ opens the way to God, secures a complete salvation, and continually intercedes for His people. Our greatest hope is not just that we escape judgment, but that through Jesus Christ we draw near to God and get God Himself.
